Emergency Stop Buttons

• Control Room (near door)

• Scan Suite Wall (near door)

• Hallway wall to equipment room

• System Power Panel (equipment room back wall)

Emergency Procedures

1. Fire:
   1. Emergency Stop
   2. Remove subject from area
   3. Alert campus security (dial 3333)
   4. Extinguish (2 extinguishers, waiting room/equipment room)
   5. *** CLOSE SCANNER SUITE DOOR ***
2. Medical:
   1. Stop Scan
   2. Remove subject from scanner suite
   3. Alert campus security (dial 3333)
   4. Tend to the subjects needs
   5. *** CLOSE SCANNER SUITE DOOR ***
3. Quench:
   1. Turn on fans
   2. Press quench button
   3. Evacuate scanner and scanner suite immediately
   4. Alert campus security
   5. Tend to subjects needs
   6. *** CLOSE SCANNER SUITE DOOR ***

Equipment Problems

1. No Chirping:
   1. Call Tammy
   2. Call George
2. Humidity Alarm:
   1. Let it go: FO&M will come and check it out
3. Scanner Technical Issues:
   1. Most issues can be cleared up by rebooting (must restart system, not just log out of software)
   2. Call Tammy
   3. Call George
